"My wife Paula has been a resident of Luther Park’s Memory Care Center since July 7, 2009. My wife is suffering from severe dementia and requires a secured living space with full time care. The Memory Care Center and the professional staff employed there provide the services she requires.
I chose Luther Park Memory Care Center for two essential reasons:
1) The first reason is the facility itself. The Memory Care Center was designed with a good deal of thought for residents with my wife’s problems and declining mental capacity. I was especially pleased with its spacious size, which includes three hallways (great for walking), a large dining area, a large nicely furnished common living room area, a landscaped outdoor secured exercise and sitting area, and an in-house beauty salon. The Memory Care Center’s interior design, color scheme, decorations, and apartment layouts are appropriately designed for folks with impaired mental and physical abilities. Also, the food, snacks and drinks have been excellent.
2) The second reason, and certainly the most important, was my first impression of the staff, both the management staff and the staff who have the “hands on duty” with the residents. I truly felt all the staff showed a great concern for the residents and I am most happy to report that my initial impression has turned out to be true. My wife has received excellent care from the staff. They all have consistently treated her in a kindly, compassionate and professional manner. No one could ask for more.
I would indeed, without hesitation, recommend the Memory Care Center for those who are in need of full time residency and assisted living care."

"My husband, Lindy, and I have been residents of Luther Park since December 2008. We chose Luther Park because of the spacious apartments that were offered. We liked the idea of a brand new facility. The public areas have furnishings that are warm and inviting with gas fireplaces in the lounges.
The food has been outstanding. The chef prides herself in preparing foods from scratch so she can control the additives and salt. The main meal is served at noon and a lighter meal in the evening.
The staff and caregivers have been wonderful. They are always available to handle questions and any problems that may arise. We’re one big family here.
With our daughter and son-in-law living in Sandpoint and our son and daughter-in-law in Spokane, we’re thankful to have such a lovely facility such as Luther Park at Sandpoint."
